It has been several years now since JS officially won the battle for front-end dominance and the the gold rush for framework development began. We have now entered a scenario where we have a wide variety of mature tools and libraries available to help us build front-end applications. Development is becoming widely accessible to people who previously wouldn’t have thought about doing it and this is thanks to the wide variety of training materials and courses being provided either as free or as part of schemes to get more people involved.

Is there a dark side to this story though? In our haste to become more productive have we missed out vital steps that might have made our lives easier? In this keynote session Rob intends to cover the state of things as he sees them and discuss options for what we can do better if we want to carry on providing value over in the coming years of development for the web and otherwise.
