YouTube Takes Action Against Predatory Comments On The Platform

YouTube recently fell victim to its comments being used to organize a child exploitation network. A YouTuber exposed a “soft-core pedophilia ring” that uses comments for their benefit. He said they identify non-sexual video content featuring minors that would appeal to pedophiles. According to Gizmodo, major advertisers are being scared off from this issues. Attempting to fix the issue, YouTube is disabling comments on almost all videos featuring minors.
