I accidentally found my passion for cyber security during my college days. I wanted to bypass the restrictions placed on accessing certain websites. I read blogs and managed to do the intended, that’s when I started learning more about network security. After graduating in 2013, I started working as a Bug Bounty Hunter. During that time, I searched for vulnerabilities in various web applications, mobile applications, and several IoT devices. However, to develop these skills, you need to know how these applications are built and how they work.

At that point, I believed that I had good knowledge of offensive security but not of cyber forensic investigation. So, I decided to learn and become a Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (C|HFI), which was an entirely new domain. Being a cyber security enthusiast, I’m always open to exploring new domains of the industry.

About Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (C|HFI)

C|HFI delivered its brilliant content through various impressive learning approaches.

1. Training Material and Courseware

The training material and courseware provided by EC-Council for C|HFI was on-point. The courseware was detailed while the training material covered all the topics in depth. This is one of the reasons why I suggest C|HFI to all those interested in cyber forensics.

2. Amazing Tools that C|HFI Introduced Me to

I still use various tools that C|HFI training introduced. The most common tools are those which are used in Malware Forensic, Network Forensic, Mobile Forensic such as Andriller, FTK Imager, Autopsy, Process Monitor, IDPro, Wireshark, Password recovery tools, RAM Capture, and many more.

3. Great Content

This training has helped me gain a vast amount of knowledge most easily. In addition to that, I was able to develop incredible skill sets to investigate and analyze digital evidence.

4. Praise-worthy Trainers

The training was delivered by the experts of the industry. The assigned trainer impressed me with his insightful knowledge.

Even after all these years, the cyber security industry still has a lot to offer, and I never feel bored, exhausted, or tired of working on any security projects.

For beginners, I would recommend that you first learn how to develop an application, which will give you an idea of how an application works, and then start learning about how to find vulnerabilities in a security system. You can also read blogs or get in contact with the cyber security community for further guidance, maybe through social media platforms. I would suggest them to work hard with dedication and continue to do so for a few years, and the result will be more than your expectations. I have witnessed this with ethical hacking, which has changed the life of many people.

And for professionals, who want to learn cyber forensics: C|HFI is the best option for you.
