Women’s Rowing varsity eight falls to Ithaca
ITHACA, N.Y. – The RIT varsity eight women's rowing team fell at Ithaca in Liberty League action, Saturday.
The women's varsity eight finished with a 7:44.0 time behind Ithaca's 7:27.9 time and was comprised of Zoe Prince, Michelle Carney, Rebecca Harris, Izzy Moyer, Velvet Howland, Margaret Carey, Natalie Siwek, Lily Gaffney and Eliza Papke.
The women's second varsity eight finished at 8:07.9 time to Ithaca's 7:46.4 time, with a roster of Kaitlin Sommer, Nikole Russek, Alanna Socha, Marielle Raasio, Sophia Gorton, Liz Stublen, Mia Leone, Evelyn Andersen and Lydia Blatnik.
The women's third varsity eight finished with a time of 8:38.4 to Ithaca's 7:50.9 time. RIT's third varsity boat was comprised of Cailey Shaughnessy, Nikole Russek, Jenna Olivieri, Olivia Henry, Mikaela Simpkinson, Hannah Boettcher, Amy Fasnacht, Jenna Robinson and Arden Conybear.
Women's rowing next hosts St. Lawrence on Saturday, April 23 on Senior Day with a 9 a.m. start in Liberty League action.
