As BlackBerry pivots away from phones and toward software, it's focusing on its plays in mobility, like auto safety software and partnerships in autonomous driving. So Lyft's promising IPO means good things for BlackBerry, too. "I'm actually quite happy that Lyft is doing so well. They have a lot of work with a lot of my customers on ... autonomous driving, so we provide a lot of software. The better their business the better off I will be too," said BlackBerry CEO John Chen.
