iSpeech

Consider the following scenario, while performing an audit, you've come across a file that has been flagged by one of your security products (AV Quarantine, HIPS, Spam Filter, Web Proxy, or digital Forensics scripts). The fastest thing you can do is perform an static analysis. Basic static analysis can confirm whether a file is malicious, provide information about its functionality, and sometimes provide information that will allow you to produce simple network signatures.

On this video, I'll show you some static analysis techniques, applied on a malware file.

Enjoy 🙂
