Voicemail phishing scam reports computer security software red flag error security breach

Scammers are now attempting phishing scams through voicemail messages. If you have received a voicemail message such as the one transcribed below, be aware that the voicemail message you have received is a SCAM! No security software from this company has been installed on your PC , and no, these scammers are not aware of what is going on in regards to the security of your PC. DO NOT CALL THE TELEPHONE NUMBER given in the message: chances are the scammer on the other end will try to convince you that in order to remove the 'red flag error security breach', you will need to install their 'removal tool' which is actually malicious ransomware: software that locks out the user from their computer unless they pay a ransom fee to the crooks behind this scam in order to once again gain access to the locked-out PC. Only as a reference and for your information, I am playing the voicemail message I received in this video and I have transcribed the text below:
Please call 1-888-488-4912. I repeat it's 1-888-488-4912. Thank you. This call is in regards to security software that we installed on your computer last year.
