US Government Requests Audit Of Boeing 737 Max Certification Process

According to Business Insider, the US is requesting an audit on how the Boeing 737 Max received certification from the Federal Aviation Administration to enter service. Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao requested the audit "compile an objective and detailed factual history of the activities that resulted in the certification of the Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft." The request follows the deadly crashes of two Boeing 737 Max jets since October.
