Ubuntu 12.04 Forensics – Disk Utility Overview

This video is part of a series on Computer Forensics using Ubuntu 12.04. In this Lecture Snippet I examine the Disk Utility application that is part of the Ubuntu 12.04 operating system. This application allows you to view the hard drives, cd/dvd-rom drives, and removable drives associated with the operating system. I am also able to mount hard drives and unmount hard drives using this utility. This utility also indicates the device location used by the operating system, such as /dev/sda1.
