Tyler technology firm founder to lead research at New Mexico Tech

SOCORRO, N.M. — Dr. Michael Doyle, who is the founder, chairman and chief technology officer of Eolas Technology Inc. in Tyler, has been hired by New Mexico Tech as the university's new Vice President for Research.

He has been selected to lead the STEM university's extensive research enterprise to oversee its current external funding portfolio of approximately $550 million and annual research expenditures exceeding $50 million.





Dr. Doyle begins his new position on Jan. 17.
