Realtime Network Attacks_Part 1

iSpeech

Noblis CASEView (Cyber Attack Sense Engine Viewer) provides a geospatial representation of real-time network attack data to allow network security operators to maintain situational awareness of threats against their systems. Using data feeds from different types of network Intrusion Detection System (IDS) sensors placed inside and outside organization networks, attack data is correlated in a central database. The database can be queried by a variety of tools; this is an example of a KML view rendered in Google Earth depicting last-hop attacks against an external network boundary, incorporating attack frequency and severity. This view can be manipulated interactively, and the user can drill-down to reveal details of specific attacks.

Rick Murphy presents this technology to Noblis Network's special correspondent Laury Sendek
