Illinois Institute Of Technology announced the appointment of its 10th President, Raj Echambadi

Illinois Institute of Technology has announced that Rajagopal 'Raj' Echambadi will be the 10th President of Illinois Tech. Echambadi holds the position of Dunton Family Dean at D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University.

President Alan W. Cramb announced his retirement end of 2020, in his place, Chennai born, Echambadi was named successor two days ago. Echambadi Studied Mechanical Engineering at Anna University and received his PhD From the University of Houston. 





In the press release by Illinois Tech, Raj Echambadi was quoted saying, “Illinois Tech has the requisite capabilities—intellectual, cultural, and social capital—and the right values embodied by our entire community to build upon our historic strengths, to chart a vibrant future, and to strengthen our role as a leading technological institution. My family and I are delighted to be part of this exciting journey and to be calling Illinois home again.”
