Federal contractors can help inform the government’s national strategy on advancing privacy enhancing technology (PET) through a White House request for information.
The national strategy will outline a plan for responsibly acquiring PET, such as homomorphic encryption, a type of data conversion, and synthetic data-generation tools, which are useful for AI training models.
The administration is asking for technical guidance, existing best practices and barriers, and proposed modifications to regulations and policy that will ease the procurement of new technology.
