Morris Hospital recently updated their MRI technology and now offers patients the latest advancements, with its new Magnetom Altea 1.5T MRI System, from Siemens Healthineers.
Liz Bates is the Director of Imaging Services and Radiation, at Morris Hospital and she spoke with WCSJ about the upgrade saying, this new system replaces the existing system that was purchased in 2011.
She talked about some of the system’s capabilities and the enhanced experience patients can expect.
She said the MRI table even has forms of artificial intelligence.
Bates said that their MRI Suite area also had a bit of an aesthetic facelift.
Bates added that these new MRI Systems have also been installed at the Morris Orthopedic Center on Route 6 and the Medical Center Division of Morris Hospital located in Channahon.
