Livspace strengthens technology team with key elevations

Omnichannel home interior and renovation platform Livspace has announced key elevations to its technology team, said a statement issued today.

Rohit Modi steps up as group chief technology officer. He has been instrumental in building the product, design and growth engineering teams at Livspace. In his new role, he will be responsible for shaping the company’s global technological vision, leading cutting-edge, market-ready tech solutions across regions and fostering new skills within the organisation tied to big data and analytics.

Praveen Kumar, currently vice-president, engineering, has been named as chief technology officer. Over the years, he has been leading engineering teams, product development and management. In addition to his current role, he will now own key deliverables on platform scalability and performance while driving new growth opportunities through disruptive technologies and innovation.

Abhishek Kasina, who has been leading product initiatives, has been promoted to chief product officer. He will lead the evolution of the firm's global product portfolio. In addition to strengthening existing offerings, he will further build product strategy and roadmap.

Livspace is on an aggressive expansion path. It had recently announced expansion plans across 80 markets, including 60 new market entries across India and 20 Asia Pacific cities.
