Lecture on cybersecurity held : The Tribune India

A presentation on cybersecurity was organised at Bishop Cotton School in Shimla. The guest speaker of the event was old Cottonian Somnath Banerjee of 1989 batch, who returned to the school after 32 years. Banerjee spoke about cybersecurity and wildlife photography. He apprised the audience about safety tips on passwords, phishing traps and cyber fraud. He said: “I will look forward to having a few of them (students) join my organisation as Ethical Hackers. I’m really impressed with their cybersecurity knowledge.”

Dr BR Ambedkar remembered

The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) organised a general house at HPU’s Pink Petal Chowk to mark the birth anniversary of Dr BR Ambedkar. Addressing the gathering, the ABVP leaders said Dr Ambedkar would always be remembered for his contribution to the Indian Constitution and his efforts to give respectable lives to millions of Dalits and other deprived classes. A poster-making event was also held on the occasion, in which several students participated.
