JWCC offering cybersecurity workshop on July 12 – Muddy River News

QUINCY — John Wood Community College Business and Industry Training, in conjunction with Western Illinois University and the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunities Broadband Ready Grant, is offering a cybersecurity workshop from 11 a.m.-noon on July 12 at JWCC’s Workforce Development Center, 4220 Koch’s Lane. 

Cybersecurity is a critical issue in today’s world. Now is the time to take advantage of this free workshop to learn more. Encouraged to attend are non-profit organizations, small businesses and the general public. Learn about best practices to stay safe from malware, ransomware, phishing, identity theft and other cybersecurity related issues.
