As cyber security professionals it is our job to make people know that cyber security is important. But how are some ways we can do this?
Recently the power grid in California was taken down by hackers. It was down played but it was a very big deal. We even had over half a BILLION records stollen from data bases, yet still no action has been taken.
What has to happen for people and congress to wake up? What if Cyber professionals had a grass roots effort to push congress to pass laws to protect our data?
I don’t see this changing any time soon but it is still on us to protect ourselves online. If we don’t start now the future will not look pretty.
