Faculty inquiry groups (FIGs) meet in person or online to work together on a specific question, issue, or concern in their teaching and/or their student’s learning. In these collaborative groups, faculty are encouraged to use their expertise to explore options, solve problems, and create action plans to integrate technology into their course curriculum. This semester, Technology-enhanced Learning and Online Strategies’ (TLOS) Professional Development Network (PDN) is hosting FIGs to examine the following areas:

  • Sept. 16 - Dec. 16 (meeting every other week) - Data-Informed Teaching. Even though the first FIG meeting has passed, additional participants are invited to enroll.

TLOS, a unit of the Division of Information Technology, offers learning opportunities that foster the integration of technology in teaching, learning, research, and daily activities for Virginia Tech faculty, staff, and graduate students. PDN facilitates campus-wide partnerships to offer quality workshops and training opportunities designed to foster technology integration and increase digital fluency at Virginia Tech.
