According to a report by CNN, on Thursday, counter-terrorism police launched an investigation after 5 mosques in the British city of Birmingham were vandalized. West Midlands Police first responded to reports of a man smashing windows at a mosque in the north of the central English city with a sledgehammer at 2:32 a.m. In less than an hour, police were reportedly called to a similar attack on a mosque nearby.
