Arrow Electronics has announced a software distribution agreement with QuSecure, which specializes in post-quantum cybersecurity.

The company will provide QuSecure’s QuProtect post-quantum cybersecurity software to more than 220,000 commercial and federal channel partners “to help them secure networks, communication and data from classical and quantum cyberattacks,” according to a prepared statement.

Quantum Tech Protects Against Cyberattacks

QuProtect enables organizations to leverage quantum technology to protect against cyberattacks, future-proof their networks and prepare for post-quantum cyber threats, QuSecure said. It uses a quantum-security-as-a-service (QSaaS) architecture that delivers zero trust post-quantum-cryptography, high availability and other capabilities into a cybersecurity suite.

In addition, QuProtect software can be hosted on premises or via the cloud, QuSecure said. It also can be implemented across all devices on an organization’s network to minimize the risk of cyberattacks.

QuSecure Launches Quantum-Safe Cryptography Orchestration Solution

The Arrow partnership comes after QuSecure in January 2023 released QuEverywhere, a quantum-safe orchestration solution that protects encrypted private data on any website or mobile application.

QuEverywhere provides organizations with “a post-quantum channel over the public internet as a quantum-safe conduit for data to reach devices outside an organization’s data center or cloud environment,” QuSecure said. It allows organizations to protect data and transactions on premises or in the cloud, on a mobile device or desktop browser or in a networked system. QuEverywhere does not require end-users to install any software.

QuEverywhere secures post-quantum communications between a data center or cloud and users and their devices, QuSecure noted. The software is compliant with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) recommendations for standardized post-quantum computing algorithms and can upgrade its algorithms to safeguard an organization’s data and communications against evolving cyber threats.

QuSecure helps enterprises and government organizations protect their data against quantum and traditional cyber threats. The company does not currently offer a channel partner program but may look to develop and launch one in the future.
