Argentina: Resolution No. 1/2023 – Public Consultation – Second National Cybersecurity Strategy

Through Resolution No. 1/2023 (“Resolution“), the Chief of Cabinet of Ministers (“Chief“) launched the public consultation on the Second National Cybersecurity Strategy.

On 24 May 2019, the Chief approved the First National Cybersecurity Strategy through Resolution No. 829/2019, establishing the main principles for the protection of cyberspace in Argentina. However, recent technological advances pose new challenges that urge an update of the strategy.

By means of the Resolution, published in the Official Gazette (here) on 5 January 2023, the Chief launched the public consultation on the Second National Cybersecurity Strategy. The goal is for all parties interested in cybersecurity and the protection of the digital space to participate, contribute recommendations and share experiences.

Comments, proposals and opinions may be submitted by email here or through the Remote Procedures Platform (TAD) of the Virtual Desk of the Secretariat for Public Innovation (here).

The public consultation process will be available for 30 business days from the day following the date of the Resolution’s publication in the Official Gazette, that is, until 16 February 2023.
