HAMPTON — Amber Levine has been selected to serve as the new technology director for Hampton School District.

She began her new role in September. Levine joined Hampton School District in 2009 as an elementary technology and STEAM teacher in Adeline C. Marston School. Since 2005, she has served as the head of children’s development at the Attitash Alpine Education Foundation.

“I am so thrilled to have Amber aboard as our new technology director and congratulate her on this promotion. It is well-deserved," said SAU 90 Superintendent Lois Costa. "Her expertise in technology, along with her experience and knowledge of the district, makes her fit to assume this role."

Levine holds a bachelor's degree in early childhood education from Plymouth State University and a master’s degree in education with a focus in leadership from Southern New Hampshire University. She also holds a graduate certificate in integrating technology from Walden University.

“Coming from being the technology teacher at Marston for the past 12 years, I am well versed in the technology initiatives and programs we have in place in this district," said Levine. "I am looking forward to continuing this work and helping prepare our students to be part of our technologically integrated world.”

Additionally, Levine was honored with the Hour of Code award for teaching all students at Marston School how to use computer programming and coding.
