This presentation explains how
to apply elements of a MDIT
security program to assist in the development of a customized method for assessing the security of medical devices based on equipment types. We will review how to conduct this work as an internal department identifying resources and using collaborative vendors. Lessons learned through the process by others actively working through medical device security assessments are discussed.
