You’re Not At Fault, Google Search Tripped and Broke Its Index
This is an article about a Google problem that most of you won't see until it is fixed. That is because Google Search is having a problem where new content is not being indexed in their searched results.
We first noticed this when one of our recently published stories was not showing up in Google. When taking a look at other sites, BleepingComputer noticed that these site's new content was not showin up in the search results as well.
Old and existing content, though, was showing as expected.
According to Google's Webmaster Twitter account, this is a known issue in their index and they are looking into the problem.
This issue started some time after 6:36 AM EST as that is the publishing time for our last article that was indexed.
At this point, we will have to wait for Google to fix the problem and get the content indexed again.
We will update this article when the issue is fixed.
Update 5/23/19 5:30 PM EST: Google Webmaster's Twitter account posted an updated stating that the indexing issues were fixed early this morning:
The indexing issues from earlier today have been resolved. Thank you for your patience.
