The Honorable Andrew J. Peck served for 23 years as a United States Magistrate Judge for the Southern District of New York, including a term as Chief Magistrate Judge from 2004 to 2005. Before his appointment to the bench, Judge Peck was in private practice for 17 years, focusing on commercial and entertainment litigation, including copyright and trademark matters, with extensive trial experience.

At DLA Piper, Judge Peck advises on copyright and trademark matters, and also serves as a resource for the firm and its clients on litigation strategy and discovery issues, from a Judge's perspective. Judge Peck particularly advises on innovative and efficient solutions to the challenges of information management, both within and outside the litigation context, including cross-border discovery issues. He frequently speaks at conferences concerning eDiscovery issues. Since joining DLA Piper, Judge Peck has been retained to serve as special discovery counsel to clients and law firms and to submit expert reports on eDiscovery issues. Judge Peck also serves as an arbitrator, mediator, and Special Master. He is Chambers ranked (Band 2) in eDiscovery.

Julie Brown

Julie is the director of practice technology at Vorys. She has worked in legal technology for more than 30 years. She has a paralegal degree and has worked in law firms and in-house litigation departments. Her experience includes managing large scale e-discovery and document productions, records management, litigation technology training, and development of numerous litigation technology databases. She manages Vorys' litigation technology department, which provides in-house support, training, processing, and production of e-discovery.





Julie is active in coordinating litigation technology education opportunities for the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) and served as the Conference Co-Chair for ILTACon 2019-2020. In 2020, Julie received ILTA's Contributor of the Year Award and in 2011, Julie received ILTA’s Distinguished Peer Award for Litigation and Practice Support. She is a certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS) and is certified in ViewPoint, Summation, Sanction, Law 5.0, the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), and Lean Six Sigma.

Sal Mancuso is the Vice President of eDiscovery Operations & Products at Conduent. He has designed and successfully run Litigation Support and eDiscovery departments for over 25 years. Since his start in the legal com community in 1988, he has worked alongside attorneys at law firms such as Proskauer Rose, Willkie Farr, and Greenberg Traurig. Sal has established himself as an expert in the field of eDiscovery, providing law firms and their clients assistance with defensible cost-effective workflows and solutions, development of ESI protocols, design of data preservation orders, handling of IT interviews, data mapping, and data collection.
