Vivo V15 Pro Android 10 (Funtouch OS 10) update released
Vivo’s V15 Pro was first unveiled back in March 209 with Android 9 Pie. The company has done a pretty good job at updating this device with regular fixes and security patches but what the users really want, is an update to Android 10.
The company has been teasing the much-anticipated update to the company’s Android 10-based skin, Funtouch OS 10 for this device along with many other devices by the same company. Last we saw was that V15 Pro users would get updated to Android 10 in June or July.
Vivo V15 Pro
Well, true to the company’s word and promise, the Vivo V15 Pro is getting updated to Android 10 beginning today. Well, kinda.
“Thank you for reaching out to us. We truly understand your situation, we are glad to inform you that the Android 10 version is released for vivo V15 Pro handset (under the greyscale test). You will be notified soon.”
As mentioned by the company rep, this update is still in greyscale. This means that it’ll take time to hit all devices as this is a limited rollout.
Over the past few couple of months, pressure has been mounting on Vivo to roll out Funtouch OS 10 to more of its devices as the users whose devices are eligible for the update but haven’t quite been updated yet are growing increasingly impatient.
The Vivo V15 Pro users are advised to sit tight and look forward to this update to Android 10 (Funtouch OS 10) as it is most definitely on its way to their devices.
The V15 Pro is also eligible for an update to Android 11/Funtouch OS 11 when that drops. This is based on previous update trends by Vivo, and the age of this device.
