A vulnerability classified as critical has been found in VideoLAN VLC Media Player 3.0.7.1 (Multimedia Player Software). This affects the function xiph_SplitHeaders of the file modules/demux/xiph.h of the component OGG File Handler. Applying a patch is able to eliminate this problem. The bugfix is ready for download at git.videolan.org.
