This story is being continuously updated…. New updates are being added at the bottom…..

Original story (published on June 6) follows:

Be it the brand value, market share or the fan base, the BBK Electronics owned Vivo isn’t as popular as the company’s other ventures namely OnePlus, Realme and Oppo. But when it comes to the Asian market, Vivo holds up well and is among the top 10 smartphone vendors.

Just like users from other OEMs, Vivo smartphone users have also been curious about when is the Android 10-based Funtouch OS 10 going to make it to their units. The demand has skyrocketed as Android 10 is yet to hit majority Vivo devices.

Recently, we highlighted that Vivo Z1 Pro along with some others may get to experience Android 10 during the month of June. And it looks like, the wait is finally over as it’s already happening. Yes, the Android 10-based Funtouch OS 10 update is reportedly making way to the Z1 Pro devices, at least in India.

Landing as Funtouch OS rev6.9.11, weighing at around 3.1GB, the update should bring along the Android 10 goodies like revamped UI design, new navigation gestures, native screen recording, improved privacy controls, Digital Wellbeing, system-wide dark mode, and more.

It goes without saying, the updates are pushed over-the-air in batches and take some time to make it to all units. You can manually check for the update by heading to Settings>> System>>Software update>> Check for updates. If there’s a new notification, you know what to do next, right?

Enjoy the latest-and-the-greatest Android 10 on your Vivo Z1 pro device. Feel free to share with us your experience by dropping a comment below.
