ULS Technology PLC on Thursday said pretax loss for the first half of fiscal 2022 widened significantly, though revenue increased on higher demand.
The London-listed technology company posted a pretax loss in the six-month period ended Sept. 30 of 1.6 million pounds ($2.1 million), compared with a loss of GBP702,000 a year earlier.
Revenue from continuing operations increased to GBP10.2 million from GBP6.9 million, boosted by first-time buyers due to the impact of lockdowns and home working, the company said.
"While we are mindful of ongoing developments in the U.K.'s response to the Covid pandemic, the return to more normal business practices and face to face interaction allows our sales teams a greater opportunity to engage and influence our partners. The board views the coming year with confidence and optimism," Chief Executive Officer Jesper With-Fogstrup said.
No dividend was declared for the period.
