This video is part of a series on Computer Forensics using Ubuntu 12.04. In this Lecture Snippet I discuss deleting a file and flash drive partition using shred, a utility already installed on Ubuntu. Using the utility I write over existing data with random passes and also with a layer of zeros to hide the shredding.
