This video is part of a series on Computer Forensics using Ubuntu 12.04. In this Lecture Snippet I convert ASCII text characters to Hexadecimal numbers. I do this so that when searching for files in the Master File Table (MFT) by file name, I can search by Hexadecimal and include the 00 hex values between the characters in the file name.
