U.S. Regulators Considering Fine For Facebook After Privacy Violations

According to a report by the Washington Post, on Friday, US regulators met to discuss imposing a fine against Facebook for violating a legally binding agreement with the government to protect the privacy of personal data. Reuters reports that the Federal Trade Commission has been investigating Facebook since last year. The Post reports that the FTC has not finalized its finding or the total amount of the potential penalty.
