PUEBLO, Colo. — Transportation Technology Center, Inc., the research and testing affiliate of the Association of American Railroads, is for the first time offering access to three decades of research conducted under the AAR’s Strategic Research Initiatives program.
Technology Digest, a weekly publication which highlights research findings and reports industry-related projects, is available through TTCI’s new e-library. The keyword-searchable archive includes research from 1992 to the present. It is available at this page on the TTCI website. New issues of Technology Digest will become available in the e-library 60 days after their distribution to AAR subscribers.
The AAR-funded SRI projects are selected by technical teams including engineers and other professionals from across the rail industry. The research addresses topics such as wheel-rail interaction, wheel and rail materials, special trackwork, bridges, inspection technology, and other topics.
