Tomball Business & Technology Park named 10th best industrial park in U.S.
The Tomball Business & Technology Park is still a work in progress but is already receiving national recognition, being named one of the best industrial parks in the country.
Business Facilities ranked the park as the 10th best park in the U.S. in its 17th Annual Rankings Report, a Tomball Economic Development Corporation news release stated.
“The TEDC’s vision has been to create an environment where businesses grow and thrive,” TEDC Executive Director Kelly Violette said. “It is an honor to receive this recognition from Businesses Facilities, which validates the vision and hard work of everyone involved with the park.”
Parks are ranked based on several criteria, including size, recent expansions, growth potential and unique assets like residential developments, on-site utilities and water resources, the release added.
The Tomball Business & Technology Park encompasses 99.5 acres at the intersection of Hufsmith-Kohrville Road and Holderrieth Road, featuring numerous lots of varying sizes alongside utilities and off-site detention.
Several companies have made the park their national headquarters, including JDR Cable Systems and Kinsley Armelle. One bar and brewery is under construction at the park, Paradigm Brewing, which is hoping to be open by the end of the year.
