‘The technology has brought the riders level closer; it’s great for the show’ – Max Biaggi

Max Biaggi, a former competitive motorcycle racer, considers that there have been many changes over the years in the maximum motorcycle speed category.

To Il Messagero, Biaggi admits that these changes had as a consequence the approximation of the times and the performance of the bikes: 'The technology has brought the riders' level closer, all of them very close. It's great for the show, but people want to identify with one or two riders...Both Bastianini and Bagnaia have a polished but effective driving style like mine'.

Biaggi considers that a new era in motorcycling has begun, after the retirement of Valentino Rossi, who left an undeniable legacy of his own. As for his future, Max doesn't intend to follow in Rossi's footsteps, either now or in the near future, as Moto3 has gained an important space for itself:
