A video was posted on YouTube which showed professional Fortnite player Jonathan ‘JonnyK’ Kosmala purchasing and installing cheats.

‘The Fortnite Guy’ uploaded a video where JonnyK is given access to ESP cheats, which allow a player to see enemies through objects like walls and character builds.

Fortnite World Cup Online Open Qualifier

April 13 was the start of the Fortnite Online Open Qualifiers that can potentially lead to the Fortnite World Cup held on July 26-28.

The Fortnite World Cup Online Opens began on April 13.

The ten weeks of Online Open Qualifiers will offer $10 million to top participants, while the main event in New York City will have it’s own $30 million prize pool.

JonnyK was signed to Team Kaliber in August 2018, as a bunch of top organizations were looking for their shot at the World Cup.

The Fortnite Guy Video

A video was published on YouTube on April 13 by The Fortnite Guy, who previously exposed ex-Luminosity pro Kreo for scamming people through Fortnite skins and accounts.

The video “Fortnite Pro BANNED For HACKING In The WORLD CUP!” has since gained over 120,000 views which details JonnyK’s process of buying, installing, and getting banned for using in-game cheats for Fortnite.

The Fortnite Guy’s video also shows a specific transaction which proves JonnyK purchased the cheats himself, along with showing the short process of him installing and eventually getting banned from the cheats.

It was later revealed that The Fortnite Guy was working with the hacker seller in an attempt to catch JonnyK in the act.

The hacker, CBV, posted his own YouTube video sharing his side of the story.

Team Kaliber’s Response

On April 14, Team Kaliber posted an official statement on JonnyK, revealing that the organization decided to remove the player from their roster.

Team Kaliber also commented that they have ended their relationship with JonnyK along with apologizing for their “lapse in judgement”.

Do you think more Fortnite professional players will be exposed for using cheats?
