Ladies and gentlemen, welcome once again to another exciting, nail biting segment of our Cyber Security News. The previous Cybersecurity news report we did received a lot of attention and comments...Most of them being ā€¦ complaints .. noā€¦ no actually there were complimentsā€¦ I have even had people walk up to me to ask, so what was that Cyber Security news report all about? What did you aim to achieve...Even from The Unites States of America ā€¦ Blimey, I donā€™t know, maybe we just wanted to make a bunch of people mad... or maybe, just raise some cyber awareness ā€¦You tell me...

Now I know what your thinking, nobody asked for this!!
We barely survived the first one and now here they come again!

But, but ā€¦ itā€™s either this or watch bloody Boris Johnson on the Telly talking Brexit for another 20 years, and I donā€™t know you but I am not ready for that!! (Picture Brexit 2038)

And now for the news!

Kryptowire, a security company, has revealed a total of 146 new vulnerabilities impacting Android device users. Blimey, thatā€™s bad,but wait! Thereā€™s more!! They further stated that these vulnerabilities dont require the user to download a malicious app, they are already on the smartphone itself when you purchase it.

The Kryptowire CEO, Angelos Stavrou, told Wired: If the problem lies within the device, that means the user has no options. Because thecode is deeply buried in the system, in most cases, the user cannot do anything to remove the offending functionality.

Wow, like we did not hear enough already news about vulnerable android apps. Now they go,"Heres some dangerous softwares and
applications to go with your purchase, enjoy your new phone!!"...

They are probably proud of it too, I can just imagine the
adverts now " Buy one Android Device and get 146 different
vulnerabilities and malwares completely free!! No need to thank us!!

And when Android users go to complain, like "Hey, something is
wrong with the apps you put in my brand new phone!!" they are like "
Am sorry sir, to remove that malicious application is gonna cost you extra!!...

Android users are only left with the option of trusting that
the device vendors will always protect them from potential harm.

Oh wow, I feel safer already!! Itā€™s okay guys, the Android Avengers are on it, we can rest easy now.
Even though they were the ones that put it there in the first place. Besides that, the only other way to stop it is by setting your phone on fire, looks like Samsung has the
part covered already.

Here is then an important message for you. Donā€™t trust blindly applications, software or even hardware without a proper security due diligenceā€¦ What does it meanā€¦ Check it out, people, check it out or they will record you in the shower while you are singing ā€˜singing in the rain ā€¦. ā€œ

So, people let me explain. Commonly, ā€œantivirusā€ and ā€œanti-malwareā€ are used interchangeable. They both refer to software designed to detect, protect against, and remove malicious software. That being said, anti-malware can stop a viral infection form happening and remove infected files. However, anti-malware isn't necessarily equipped to restore files that have been changed or replaced by a virus.
On the other hand, we need to remember that there no 100% effective security solutions that will make your business ā€œunhackableā€. Yes, you heard me right. Take a look at amazing research and presentation done by Lidia Giuliano, publicly available.

Thank you for joining us...Do have a wonderful day.
