School: Springfield-Clark Career Technology Center

Grade: Graduated

Age: 18

Extra-curricular: Cross Country, Track

Claim to fame/honors: I was selected to compete in the Dental Assisting SkillsUSA competition my junior and senior year. I received the Jaguar Award and my dental pin while at CTC as well, which is something that only a few students earned based on academic requirements.

Words you live by: “Everything happens for a reason”

Toughest challenge: Coming out of my shell and meeting new people

Biggest influence: My mom

What’s on your bedroom walls: A couple pictures of my papaw who passed, a “warrior” sign that I received in cross country, a drawing I made

When I’m bored I like to… draw or color, watch movies, go outside

Favorite movie: Any comedy

Person who would play you in a movie: Victoria Justice

Favorite TV show: Criminal Minds

Favorite musical artist: Billie Eilish

Favorite book: Any book by Mary Downing Hahn

Favorite home-cooked meal: Steak, homemade mashed potatoes and corn

Favorite restaurant: Texas Roadhouse

Whose mind would you like to read: My mom’s

Place where you’d love to travel: Costa Rica

Talent you’d like to have: Play the guitar or ukulele

Favorite school subject: Math

Something in the world I’d like to change: Sickness. So many of my family members have passed away from cancer or some other illness. Also with it being my senior year and COVID-19 changing the way we think about graduation, I would do anything to change that.

Favorite high school moment: Every day in the lab is another great high school moment. We all had so much fun with Mrs.Ritz.

Favorite junk food: Extra toasted Cheez-Its

Best thing about high school: Creating friendships with so many new people at CTC. Deciding to follow my career and leave my homeschool was the best thing I could have done.
