Snap Wants To Get More Music Rights For To Compete Against TikTok

Snap Inc. wants to better compete with other apps, such as TikTok, and are looking toward music. According to Digital Trends, they discussed with major records to add more music to Snapchat. The company wants broad rights to music from Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment and Warner Music Group. If they get these rights, Snapchat users could enjoy similar musical features offered by TikTok and Instagram Stories.
