The Cyber Security Experience, or CSX (www.singtelcyberexperience.com), is an interactive cyber education portal to engage students and mid-career professionals who are interested in a cyber security career.
Modelled after the National Security Agency’s (NSA) Day of Cyber, the CSX raises awareness of cyber-related careers by profiling real-life cyber security professionals and mentors from Singtel and its US-based managed security services subsidiary, Trustwave, as well as the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA).
Visitors to the portal can explore various career paths in cyber security and experience a day in the life of a cyber security professional through interactive cyber scenarios to understand the hard and soft skills needed for various roles.
The launch of CSX is timely as it is aligned with the Committee on the Future Economy Report which recommended that Singapore builds advanced cyber security capabilities to accelerate high-growth industries and core competencies that support the digitalisation of other industries.
Mr Ong Ye Kung, Minister of Education and Second Minister for Defence, officiated the launch of CSX at the Singtel Cyber Security Institute.
