Reimagining The News And Its Production Technology, NewsTECHForum To Return To NYC On Dec. 13
NewsTECHForum, TVNewsCheck’s annual conference that looks at the intersections of news and technology, along with the rapidly evolving workflows powering them forward, will return to the New York Hilton for a day-long event on Dec. 13, co-located with the Sports Video Group Summit.
This year the event will explore the theme of Reimagining the News and How It’s Made, looking at the many ways in which the fast-evolving technologies for presentation, production and distribution are coupling with dramatic innovations in storytelling and newscast composition. And all of these changes are set against the growing need for more news programming distributed across multiple platforms, a recurring dynamic engaged across the day’s programming.
Panels include: Blowing Up the TV Newscast in Order To Save It; Building Tomorrow’s News Studio & Workflows; Creating More Content for a Multimedia Audience; Reinventing News Presentation & Presenters in a Multimedia Ecosystem; Field and Remote Production’s Multiplying Options and the Quest for More Stories; and New Frontiers in News Production.
