Hello Everyone & Welcome to another Black Hat Ethical Hacking Episode.
In today's episode, we will be generating different types of payloads, using msfvenom, and weevely for php backdoors.
We will also setup reverse_tcp meterpreter handler using metasploit,
and deliver them using apache2. With Weevely we will get a shell.
Shells are weaker than meterpreter handlers, and we will see why.
However, you can easily elevate from a shell to a meterpreter making it more powerful, but that depends on the scenario. Weevely can be used by developers who want to access their web-server, or system administrators, to perform quick actions, even when hosts block you, or you have issue connecting, as you will connect to your self owned backdoor to perform some exploitation techniques like hashdumps, setting keyloggers,
as getting a shell is just the beginning.
