We helped USA kick off the launch of their unsettling new thriller, “Mr. Robot" with some in camera trickery.
Seizing the opportunity to tackle hot button issues of cyber security, vigilante justice, and social connectivity, we aimed to break the mold of USA’s promotional style and thrusting the audience into a darker, grittier reality in favor of more daring visual complexity.
Using a variety of in-camera effects, the end pages showcase layers of light and projection to create organic, futuristic images targeted at an audience of hip, tech-savvy Millennials.
We went to our favorite Christopher Webb Studios in Brooklyn, and toyed with robotics built into traditional light and camera rigs, manipulate plexiglass prisms refracting LED lights.
