Motorola Android 10 update tracker: Devices received so far

tts

Motorola’s change of ownership has had a negative effect on its ability to push timely software updates to its smartphones on the regular.

Ever since Lenovo took over reigns from Google, the company’s devices lag behind when it comes to receiving major OS updates. This delay is also felt across the monthly security updates board.

To date, for instance, several Motorola smartphones are still waiting on the company to release the stable version of Android 10 OS. This is nearly a year since the OS was pushed to Google Pixels in early September 2019.

Motorola Razr recently got Android 10 update

At a time when Android 11 is just around the corner, one would expect a company whose smartphones have one of the cleanest user interfaces (near stock) to be done with pushing Android 10 OS updates to devices in question. Yet here we are.

On the brighter side, Motorola is still adamant that devices like the Moto G8 Plus, Moto G8 Power Lite, and Moto G8 Play will eventually be upgraded to Android 10, but God knows when.

That said, below is a list of smartphones that have received the official Motorola Android 10 update so far:

1. Moto One [Released]
2. Moto G7 [Released]
3. Moto G7 Play [Released]
4. Moto G7 Power [Released]
5. Moto Razr [Released]
6. Moto G7 Plus [Released]
7. Moto Z4 [Released]
8. Moto One Action [Released]
9. Moto One Vision [Released]
10. Moto One Power [Released]

As noted, this isn’t the final list of devices on Motorola Android 10 update as more devices are expected to join the party. We will keep an eye on the developments and update this article regularly as and when new devices get the OS.

Meanwhile, check out our coverage on the state of the Moto G8 Plus Android 11 update as well as the general Motorola Android 11 update.
