According to a report by Business Insider, the phrase 'the dark side of the moon' is almost always used incorrectly. Technically, what most people refer to as the 'dark side' of the moon, is actually the 'far side' of the moon, which is where China just landed its Chang'e 4 spacecraft for the first time in history. Business Insider points out that the moon spins counterclockwise on its axis, and the moon also orbits Earth in a counterclockwise fashion, and it does so almost perfectly in sync.
