Remember surprises? In today’s age of leaking information, being genuinely shocked about a game announcement is now a thing of the past. This fact still holds water at the moment, as a Reddit user has hacked Mortal Kombat 11‘s Switch files to uncover information. The title’s entire DLC fighter roster has seemingly been unveiled.

Proceed at your own risk

Reddit user LeoNatan posted a thread detailing nine unannounced characters unearthed in MK 11‘s database. LeoNatan also provided a guideline for other users to utilize and verify the information, which someone did not long after.

The following is the list of potential DLC kombatants. If you wish to remain surprised, avert your eyes now:

  • Shang Tsung
  • Joker
  • Nightwolf
  • Sindel
  • Terminator
  • Spawn
  • Ash Williams
  • Fujin
  • Sheeva

Remember to take all of this information with a grain of salt.

With that out of the way, I pray to all that is holy Ash Williams is legit. I adore Bruce Campbell and the entire Evil Dead series. If I gain the opportunity to blast Scorpion in the face with my boomstick, I can die a happy man.

This rumored DLC roster is pretty balanced. There is a roughly even difference between MK regulars and guest fighters. However, I wonder why there isn’t one more series veteran on call to round out the cast? Hopefully, Reptile will appear from the shadows. He’s a personal favorite because he can turn invisible.

Mortal Kombat 11 will launch on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch on April 23, 2019, for $60. If any Enthusiasts are excited or dismayed over what these hacked files revealed, do let us know with a message in the comment field below.
