Medical technology in India — a health check

Struck by the Covid-19 Black Swan event and buoyed by the
government’s push to become self-reliant in manufacturing, the medical technology sector in India may have been on an upswing of late with quite a few companies pivoting to produce non-traditional medical equipment.

But medtech players say there are quite a few nagging concerns that prevent them from realising their true potential despite the critical role played by the sector, which
