MDL Watch: Panel consolidates suits over Capital One data breach
A federal judicial panel on Wednesday consolidated more than 40 lawsuits against Capital One Financial Corp and two of its subsidiaries over their alleged failure to prevent a 2019 data breach.
The U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation separately denied a motion to consolidate cases brought against First American Financial Corp, also over a data breach.
