LogRhythm bags ‘Best SIEM – Computer Software’ accolade at SBR Technology Excellence Awards

The win comes off the back of growing momentum to expand its platform and strengthen cyber security for customers.

LogRhythm’s mission is to empower organisations to successfully reduce cyber risk by swiftly detecting, responding to and neutralising damaging cyberthreats. To strengthen their partnership with customers in their security maturity journey, LogRhythm has continued to invest in their platform and introduce new solutions and products.

The company’s NextGen SIEM platform recently won at the Singapore Business Review’s annual Technology Excellence Awards, in the SIEM - Computer Software category.

Separately, the platform has also been recognised by multiple independent analysts, including Gartner, Forrester and Frost and Sullivan.

"Out of the box, the platform delivers an extensive amount of capabilities and correlation rules that align with today's threats. The automated responses and SOAR workflows can deliver an increased level of maturity to any sized organization. We've had a high degree of success with LogRhythm the past 3 years," said a Vice President, IS Global Security, Retail Industry, APAC.

The LogRhythm NextGen SIEM platform combines user and entity behaviour analytics (UEBA), network traffic and behaviour analytics (NTBA) and security orchestration, automation and response (SOAR) in a single end-to-end solution. As a cloud-based platform, it offers companies the benefits of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), and requires significantly less time to deploy, administer and maintain.

This innovation follows a year of landmark developments at the leading security intelligence company, including software updates to SmartResponse™—the SIEM platform’s automated remediation capabilities—that has helped customers save up to 5.3 man hours per week. LogRhythm has also developed a vendor-agnostic Security Operations Maturity Model (SOMM) Assessment, so organisations can better measure their security operations and plan a roadmap for improved resilience in line with their resources, budget and risk tolerance.

One of their most significant developments is the LogRhythm True Unlimited Data Plan, which has been slated as the industry’s first true fixed cost licensing model. As big data volumes grow exponentially, especially in the current climate and reliance on remote working, CISOs will feel the pinch of paying more as data ingestion increases. To better support organisations in their cyber security efforts, LogRhythm introduced the unlimited data plan option so customers can fully protect their enterprise at a predictable cost, whilst CISOs no longer need to make challenging decisions over which data to monitor or protect.

Gartner analysts commented on LogRhythm’s True Unlimited Data Plan, remarking: “The model is elegant, kudos to that, someone came in and did a really good job solving 15 years of legacy overhead.”

This unlimited data plan has been well-received by organisations who have always sought such flexibility and scalability. When it was first announced in October 2019, half of all new LogRhythm customers that quarter had signed up for this new plan.

Ultimately, LogRhythm continues to demonstrate its commitment to their customers’ security journeys and deliver value through innovative solutions and products. Customers can rely on them to provide the capabilities and integrations necessary to smoothly run, and improve their security operations to combat modern threats.

The Technology Excellence Awards, presented by Singapore Business Review, was held via video conferencing throughout the first and third week of June.

This year’s nominations were judged by a panel consisting of Daryl Pereira, Head of Cyber at KPMG; Cheang Wai Keat, Head of Advisory Services in Singapore and ASEAN Technology Consulting Leader at Ernst & Young; Chin Chee Choon, Advisory Leader and Assurance Director at Nexia TS; Rizwi Wun, Partner, Acting Head of Intellectual Property and Technology Practice Group at RHTLaw Asia; Carolyn Chin-Parry, Managing Director and Digital Accelerator Leader at PwC.
